Imag 3-in-1 Vaporizer

The Imag 3-in-1 Vaporizer by Shenzhen based company Relaxo Technology Co., Ltd is the latest portable vaporizer from china and the first one I really enjoy! I was sure that sooner or later a chinese company will come up with a good and reliable unit and I think I have found it in the Imag.
Big thanks to the fuckcombustion member who pointed me to this unit, without him I would not have checked it out at all, I guess!

You know, people say there are no ecigs that can actually do dry herbs without combustion and I agree, but the imag is a real conduction vaporizer and no real e cigarette, it just looks like (a big) one!

I think that’s its biggest advantage and disadvantage at the same time. While a lot of people will not buy it just because of its looks, others will already vape in public secretly, without beeing noticed. The last is what I like about the Imag so much. People always wish for a stealthy portable vaporizer, but even the most stealthy ones are not stealthy anymore when you use them! Sucking on a big zippo for example is not stealthy at all, when people see you doing it, but sucking on an ecig nobody will get suspicious nowadays! More stealthy than the Imag is not possible, I guess

Since the Imag works with relative high temperatures between 190-220°C (no temperarure presets) the vapor gets very cloudy. I’m normally not so much a fan of high vaping temperatures but it supports the e cigarette illusion, perfectly. However, the Imag vaporizer is bigger than your regular 510 e cig. The unit is 17cm long and has a diameter of 2cm only.
I have one with wooden pattern, that actually make it look like a big cigar! Btw. in reality the imag looks much better than on the promotional pictures, the housing is made of metal, no plastic shit.

But how does the Imag work?! Well, it’s very simple. Put off the mouthpiece and fill the small oven below (looks a bit like the oven from the Arizer Solo) loosely with about 0,1g grinded herbs. Now put the mouthpiece back on and click the button three times to start the unit. A red light will glow until the oven has reached vaporizing temperatures (takes about 30 seconds only), than the light turns green and you’re ready to vape. Already the first puff is very cloudy. Surprisingly, the Imag produces a lot of vapor! However, the good taste disappears very quickly too and the popcorn taste starts to occur. After two minutes the unit shuts off automatically, but you can reactivate it anytime. The seller told me that there is also a version of the Imag that has a cycle of four minutes, but I’m fine with the two minute cycle since there is no further heating time after reaactivating it anyway. However, for me a single filling lasts only for two or three minutes, generally, but during that time I take about 8-12 deep and cloudy puffs, since the vapor forms very very quick! The used herbs look (light) brown, constantly. So there is definitely no combustion going on.

The only issue I have with the Imag is that I don’t think the oil and wax bullet will work very well, since it’s just open on one end but in the middle there is a screen. So if you start heating your wax or oil it will melt down through the bottom of the bullet and you just don’t have an opportunity to clean it out again, very well. So I think the Imag is in fact not a real 3 in 1 vaporizer, but only a dry herb vaporizer. Anyway, I’m fine with that too, since it works with herbs very well!

I can recommend this portable vaporizer to everyone who needs a stealthy unit for a quick session in corwded and/or public spaces. Honestly, this will not be my new favorite vaporizer, but even I will take it to such places in order to act as unsuspicious as possible.

Oh yes, I’ve nearly forget to tell: It’s ultra cheap, too!
