The Haze Dual V3.0 is the latest version of the popular portable vaporizer by US company Haze Technologies.
With the Haze V3.0, Haze Technologies has proven once again, that they listen to their customers and that they take their feedback very serious! I wish I could say this about every company in this business. Some companys even don’t care about honest feedback from testers like me, but that’s a different story…
Since the release of the Haze V2.5, they even offer an upgrade program you can book for a fee of 99$ only, when purchasing a Haze vaporizer. This means you can always send in your old Haze Vaporizer and exchange it for a brandnew upgraded model, once available. So if you have booked this program along with your Haze V2.5, it will become very handy now.
However, it’s not that you have to throw away your old Haze V2.5, if you have not booked this service! They’ve made some small changes that do make the Haze even better, for sure, but I don’t think they are super essential, since some of the fixed issues, I have never experienced myself so far, to be honest. Anyway, that’s exactly what I mean, when I say they do care! They even have fixed those minor issues, you may not even have realized that these excist, yet.
The most important upgrade of the Haze V3.0 are the new herb and concentrate cans, to me. They have improved taste indeed and prevent leaking, very well. The good news is, you can get them for your Haze V2.5, as well!
Also temperature control got more accurate and is less susceptible to environmental changes such as altitude, humidity, air pressure or outside temperature.
The Haze V3.0 now comes with a stainless steel heater seal on the door and an improved airpath, which makes the new Haze a little bit more effective, than the Haze V2.5.
The new designed mouthpiece should prevent getting stuck inside the airpath. However, if you keep your old one clean all the time, you won’t have this issue, anyway. Never happened to me, so far.
Next to these changes, they have made a few material improvements for better handling. The housing is now both ISO and water resistant and it has a more secure battery door latch mechanism.
Overall, I would say if you have not bought the Haze Vaporizer yet, now is the perfect time! However, if you already have a Haze V2.5 and don’t have booked the upgrade program, you are perfectly fine, with what you have. I’m honest, I don’t think the V3.0 outdates the V2.5 entirely, it’s just a little bit closer to perfection.
In addition to this review, I would recommend to check out my Haze V2.5 review, as well.
