The V2 Pro Series 7 is the second portable vaporizer from the V2 Pro Series by US company V2, which fuses ecig and herbal vaporizer technology. A third unit called the V2 Pro Series 9 will be released anytime soon.
Without a doubt, the V2 Pro Series 7 is by far the best device for vaping both eliquids and herbs, right now. It’s not just a wonderful ecig with variable voltage, but also a full-functional herbal vaporizer with three different temperature-settings.
Unlike the V2 Pro Series 3, the V2 Series 7 includes the loose leaf cartridge and the eliquid cartridge right away, so for now you don’t need to order anything extra with the Series 7 Kit. However, a third cartridge for concentrates is still in devolpment and not available yet (as it was the case with the V2 Series 3 concentrates cartridge before).
While the Series 3 looks like an classic ecig to me, the V2 Pro Series 7 reminds me a bit on the Pax by Ploom. Not just because of its shape, but also in terms of quality! The V2 Series 7 feels super valuable. Especially for the relative low price of 170$ only, it’s very hard to find anything comparable. However, on the other hand that means that the V2 Series 7 is less stealthy than its smaller brother the Series 3 and it definitely raises more attention, when used in public, because it just does not look like an typical ecig.
As already mentioned, the V2 Pro Series 7 offers three different temperature settings (200°C, 215°C, and 225°C), when you have the loose leaf cartridge inserted. I don’t think they have been chosen wisely, though. For me only the 200°C setting makes sense for vaping herbs, the other two are way too hot, I think, and I would have prefered one lower setting (mabye 185°C or 190°C), while I understand that there is a need for a high temperature setting, when the concentartes cartridge gets released, since concentrates require a hotter temperature than herbs, generally. Anyway, the vapor is very cloudy because of this though, but less aromatic, too.
If you enjoy vaping herbs on high temperatures, the V2 Series 7 will please you, for sure. It’s just not my cup of tea.
The heating time is quite short. The V2 Pro Series 7 will reach vaporizing temperatures in about 30 seconds already, while the battery lasts about one hour of operation, before you need to charge it again.
The oven of the loose leaf cartridge can take about 0,2g of grinded herbs. To fill in your herbs, you just need to turn the mouthpiece around. To start the unit simply push the button 5 times, now press the button for a couple of seconds and the V2 Series 7 will start to heat up automatically.
Overall, I can recommend the V2 Pro Series 7 to everbody, who is looking for a herbal vaporizer and an advanced ecig, at the same time, but don’t want to carry around two different devices, all the time. Despite from that you should enjoy vaping herbs on higher temperatures. If you don’t need variable voltage and the temperature presets, you should check out the more cheap and stealthy, but more basic V2 Pro Series 3, instead.
