The Deluxe Daddy Vaporizer is a rather small whip style plug-in vaporizer in the lower price range with a pretty common design! I have never tested any of the plenty other devices with a very similar wooden housing, but I’m sure this one is a good choice. I’ve heared of some made-in-china versions that use fake ceramic heating-elements. Beware of these!
The Deluxe Daddy, distributed by Near Dark GmbH in germany, gives you a three year warranty on their heating element and you can even exchange it yourself easily.
I think it’s a pretty good device for beginners, because it’s very simple to use. Just plug it in, turn it on, fill the herbs in the herb chamber between the two glass pieces at the end of the whip, wait untill the desired temperature is reached and start vapeing. The heating time is rather long, though and you can just decide between ten different temperature setting, but there are no information about the appropriate temperatures in the manual. Just that most people prefer the temperatures 6-8. Also on the internet I couldn’t find any more explicite information about the 10 settings, but after sending the canadian company an email I’ve found out that the desired temperatures must lie between 7 and 8 (around 180°C- 200°). So you can pretty much forget about the 6!
With that information you can start to inhale some good vapor pretty quick, without having to play around with the settings too much. While drawings slowly, it works pretty well for me with turning the temp around 7 3/4 or a little bit more farther.
If you’re looking for a full functional and very fair priced plug-in vaporizer that gives you some good vapor, you should give the Dexlue Daddy a try.
